When I first began photography virtually all models had pubic hair. There were,however, specialist magazines for people who liked shaven women. Nowadays you would be hard pressed to find women with pubic hair apart from those with the thin landing strip for that Hitlerian look.

When I have asked women why they shave the popular answer is that it is more hygenic. I wonder how women have managed all these millenia without being wiped out by these hair-borne diseases. Crabs must be suffering a dip in population though.
